1. Who are Tickets4trains?
We are part of Mediaworks Interactive Ltd. We are an online travel agent who offers UK Rail and Eurostar tickets along with connecting routes all throughout Europe .

2. How do I know which train company I am booking with?

Once you have made the booking you will receive an email confirmation with the train operating company details. The booking details, the check in times will also be on it and it will give you a confirmed reference number which you must take to the train station/terminal with you.

3. What are the cheapest times to travel?
The weekends and peak times tend to be more expensive compared to the early hours of the morning or late at night which will be cheaper.

3. If I book over the internet will I receive tickets in the post?
You can have them sent to you orwe will email you an E-Ticket which you will need to present at the terminal which will have a confirmed booking reference on there which you will quote and you must bring your passport.

4. Is my credit card secure when I make a booking?
Yes, we use a secure server which formats your details by encrypting them so they can't be read by anyone.

5. My question is not answered on this FAQ page, where can I get further info on this?

6. How do I know if I have booked a Single or a return ticket?
As you are making the booking you can select if you want a single or a return. Once you have made the booking it will show up like either of these below

Journey Details: London Waterloo to Paris Gare Du Nord (return or single)

7. What do I do if I need to amend my booking?
You need to either phone us or email us with giving your reference number and what details you want to change.

8. Will there be a charge for changing my booking?
The minimum to pay is a £10 amendment fee but if the price of the ticket increases then you will have to pay that difference too.

9. How do obtain my Eurostar tickets
Depending on how far in advance of your travel date you make you booking, you will be given the option to receive your tickets by First Class post, Special Delivery or by collecting your ticket(s) from the station at a self service ticket machine or at the Eurostar Ticket Desk which can be done at any time prior to departure.

10. Can I collect my tickets from the station?
Your ticket(s) will be available to collect from the self service ticket machines or the Eurostar ticket desk at your departure station

You can collect your tickets at any time prior to departure and you will be issued with both your outbound and return tickets at the same time. During peak periods and public holidays, please allow at least 45 minutes for the collection of your tickets at the station.

11. I wish to book for someone else, how will they obtain their tickets

If you are booking tickets for someone else, we can post the tickets to your address so you can pass them on to the traveller.

Alternatively, you can collect the tickets on behalf of the traveller from the station at any time prior to travel on presentation of the payment card and booking reference number. You will be issued with both the outbound and return journey tickets at the same time.

Please note:
The credit card holder must be present to collect tickets from the station so its not possible to book tickets for someone else if the card holder is not able to be present.

12. How soon do I have to check in before my train leaves?
The check-in time for Eurostar is 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure if you are already in possession of your tickets or 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure if you still need to collect your tickets

13. What is Eurostar's refund and cancellation policy on train bookings?
Please refer to the fare conditions of your ticket for information on refunds. Details of your selected ticket are shown at the time you make your booking.

15. My train was delayed - what compensation do I receive?

If your train was delayed by 60 minutes or more, depending on the reason for the delay you may be entitled to some form of compensation.
